Beginners Guide To Ballet (Saturdays)

The Beginner's Guide to Ballet Workshop is designed for total adult novices or those with minimal ballet training looking to return to ballet after a break. The course covers all fundamental aspects of ballet, including terminology, body placement, positions, and musicality. This course offers a chance to exercise both the body and mind, while learning the art of classical ballet.

This course will be held SATURDAYS 2:30pm-3:30pm:

• April 6 2:30pm-3:30pm
• April 13 2:30pm-3:30pm
• April 20 2:30pm-3:30pm
• April 27 2:30pm-3:30pm
• May 4 2:30pm-3:30pm
• May 11 2:30pm-3:30pm

The workshop will be held SATURDAY afternoon 2:30PM - 3:30PM starting April  6th. The workshop lasts for 6 classes, each 1 hour in length, held at the same location, with the same instructor and fellow students. The course concludes with students having gained the skills to complete a basic ballet barre and simple center work. There is 1 makeup class available for a day that is missed during the series, although it is  discouraged to miss any date. Ballet attire or comfortable, movable clothing and ballet shoes are required in the studio.
