Beginners Guide To Ballet - Thursdays

The Beginner's Guide to Ballet Workshop is designed for total adult novices or those with minimal ballet training looking to return to ballet after a break. The course covers all fundamental aspects of ballet, including terminology, body placement, positions, and musicality. This course offers a chance to exercise both the body and mind, while learning the art of classical ballet.

Starting September 5 this course will be held Thursdays 7:30pm-8:30pm:

• September 5, 2024 - 7:30pm to 8:30pm
• September 12, 2024 - 7:30pm to 8:30pm
• September 19, 2024 - 7:30pm to 8:30pm
• September 26, 2024 - 7:30pm to 8:30pm
• October 3, 2024 - 7:30pm to 8:30pm
• October 10, 2024 - 7:30pm to 8:30pm

The workshop lasts for 6 classes, each 1 hour in length, held at the same location, with the same instructor and fellow students. The course concludes with students having gained the skills to complete a basic ballet barre and simple center work. There is NO makeup classes available for a day that is missed during the series. It is  discouraged to miss any date. Ballet attire or comfortable, movable clothing and ballet shoes are required in the studio.
